 AUSTIN 7 SPECIAL – ROAD USER AGREEMENT

This Austin 7 Special Reg. No. KFM 503 is the property of the Lincs. A7 Group. The registered keeper is Rodney Smith The car may be borrowed at no cost by any Pre-War Austin 7 Club member. However the person borrowing it is required to add his / her name to the insurance policy by telephoning the insurers 01277 206912 and paying by credit or debit card the extra cost, currently £25.

Conditions & Procedures for loan:-

  • It is a condition that the person borrowing the car is responsible for the current insurance excess.
  • The member must hold a full UK car licence & if you intend taking the car to an event on a trailer he / she must confirm that his / her vehicle has insurance to cover trailer towing & that his / her driving licence includes trailer towing.

The user will:-

  • Sign for the condition of the vehicle & tool kit upon collection.
  • The user will be responsible for any damage sustained during the loan period including tyres.
  • The user is responsible for basic maintenance checks:-

Oil, water, tyre pressures, wheel nuts.

  • Return the car with:-

3 gallons of petrol showing on the “stick” gauge.

Sump topped up with the correct grade of oil – S.A.E. 40

TRIALS USE – AGREEMENT 

  • All of the above, however the borrower will be responsible for the full cost of any mechanical repair. Voluntary labour for the repair may be carried out by Lincs. Gp. members
