HISTORY

The Lincolnshire Group of the Pre-war Austin Seven Club have organized this early season run since 2004, to give cars and occupants a breath of fresh air after the winter. The start is from Hartsholme Country Park in Lincoln. The run is of approximately 110 miles through Lincolnshire and shows the rich variety of landscapes we enjoy. There is a lunch stop, at first this was at Market Rasen, after a while we moved on to. Tealby village hall and now stop at the Village Hall in Walesby where we are made very welcome by the locals. The run finishes at Cleethorpes.

Originally we had an evening meal in the Winter gardens, these were unsatisfactory to say the least. We moved on to the Beach restaurant for a time and now enjoy a meal at Pappas Resteraunt on the Pier

Cleethorpes is one of our premier seaside towns and has ample accommodation available for those that require it. See; www.cleethorpeswheretostay.com

All Austin Sevens and Classic Cars are eligible with a limit of 60 cars.

In 2007 and 2008 we were flagged off by the Lincoln Town Crier, Terry Stubbings. See him on youtube.   http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=2emITldegFY
