Thank you for organising the Sevens to the Sea today.
It was a real test of a round trip of 172 miles (Louth area to Hartsholme to Cleethorpes and back home) for our Austin 7 as it is the first organised run since full restoration. A couple of minor hiccups emerged, the indicators failed and so did the gearbox, but the driver had a socket set and a very large screwdriver, all that was needed was a little patience and a recall of how it all fitted together; he soon had us on our way although we were aware that everybody else was by now in front of us. A shortened lunch stop saw us back on track and we made it to Cleethorpes and its sea breeze by 3.45pm.
The instructions were well laid out and very easy to follow. Please thank all involved.
